Traveling to Spain in October 2022 for a press trip, we were told we’d be checking into the new Querencia De Sevilla Hotel. Newly opened in April 2022, I was intrigued to explore yet another member of the Autograph Collection Hotels brand.

As part of the Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio, Autograph hotels pride themselves on being exactly like nothing else. While this has been true for most I’ve visited, I was eager to find out what Querencia De Sevilla had to offer its guests.

Querencia De Sevilla: Seville’s New, Vibrant Hotel

With its warm climate and close proximity to other parts of the country, the colorful streets of Seville are filled with travelers many months out of the year. I was excited to explore to say the least!

To stand out from the crowd in a city as beautiful as Seville is no easy feat, yet the hotel managed to do just that. During my 4 days visiting, I was nothing but impressed with every part of my stay.

Checking into the Hotel

Upon entering, the region’s history and diversity are ever present in the small details, from the depictions of the bull to the gallery of relevant photographs lining the walls.

With its warm climate and close proximity to other parts of the country, the colorful streets of Seville are filled with travelers many months out of the year.

I was instantly greeted by several employees asking if I’d like a glass of cold water to beat the Spanish heat. Desks line the lobby space, making for an inviting, swift, and personal check-in experience.

Location

Located in Seville’s most famous square, Querencia De Sevilla is a prime spot for those looking to be within close proximity to all of the restaurants and attractions.

I arrived at Seville Airport on a domestic flight from Lisbon, and was conveniently picked up by one of the hotel drivers. The drive was about 20 minutes or so, and Uber is also available in Seville. From the airport to the city will cost anywhere between $20-30 depending on traffic.

The local EA bus line picks up right outside of arrivals, and will bring you into the city for 4 euros one way. This will typically take 20-30 minutes.
