Kimpton Marlowe; a Charles River Treasure

Located just a mile across the Charles River from Downtown Boston, the Kimpton Marlowe’s seemingly subtle building rises high above the trees and river. Strolling down the driveway to the main building, you’ll notice the building isn’t as indistinct as it appears. The building encloses around you, with an impressive 25-foot armillary sculpture at the front of the entrance, emanating grandeur and luxury.

Walking through the doors, you’re met with pops of deep yellow and wood tones. While notably minimalist, the space feels intimate and welcoming. The quaint bar area is the first thing you’ll notice, with a warm style and ample seating for guests and visitors. A fireplace sits towards the back wall, making the space a cozy and welcoming environment. In the winter months, the space turns in the Miracle Pop-Up Bar, with Christmas balls strewn across the ceiling, stockings, and festive cocktails to fit the theme.

To the right of the check-in desk is a shelf full of amenities for guests needs. To the left is the hotel’s unique, dining concept run by Chef Adam Resnick. Bambara Kitchen and Bar features traditional American flavors with modern techniques, making it delicious and approachable for all. The welcoming blues and soft, wooden finishings make for a cozy space, with soft lighting and unique art. The shining star is a glass map of the Cambridge area.

Anticipating the needs of all, Marlowe has also launched its own take on happy hour. Guests are welcome to mingle and try an array of wines from around the world in the lobby area. Room service is available upon request, and a variety of snacks can also be bought at the front desk.
