Before traveling to this dynamic Island, I wish I had my own Ibiza travel guide to refer to. With a ‘party’ reputation, I soon discovered that Ibiza had a lot more to offer than even I knew.
Located off the coast of the Iberian Peninsula in the Mediterranean Sea, Ibiza has so much more to offer than its reputation of just being a ‘party spot.’ A UNESCO World heritage Site, this picturesque island showcases the passion, scenery, and culture that Spain is so famous for.
As the scores of party-goers disappear from the island after the summer months, the best time to visit is September-October, while the weather is warm, the prices are cheaper, and the season is coming to an end.
Enjoy the quaint towns, immaculate beaches, and delicious restaurants, without the hassle of making reservations or being overwhelmed by crowds.
Budget airlines, such as Ryanair, make it possible to catch direct flights to Ibiza from many locations throughout Spain. If you’re working your way through the country, from Seville the flight time is about an hour and 20 minutes, direct, with Ryanair.
It’s proximity, ease of travel, and flight price, make Ibiza a great spot to add to any Spain itinerary.
