Aloft Hotel Boston;
A Quirky Gem in Boston’s Buzzing Seaport District
Boston by the waterfront just feels like the right place to be- especially in the summer and spring months. Sports cars racing by, lobster rolls ready to be served, and a whole load of enticing restaurants and outdoor patios to try. I’ve stayed at two, neighboring hotels in the Seaport District; Aloft Hotel Boston and Element Hotel. Both are in the ideal spot if you’re planning a trip to the city! (If you’re visiting during the spring; checkout this Boston bucket list!)
Checking into Aloft Hotel Boston
Entering the hotel, you’ll be greeted by a burst of color and fun! The hotel lobby area is a wide space, decorated with disco-themed colors. Think colorful cushions, splattered art paintings, & unique decor- all of which make Aloft a unique place to stay!
The rooms are modernized to transform its guests to loft-inspired hotel accommodations. With large windows, you’re in for a treat when it comes to natural light and sweeping views of the city. I checked into the two-queen guest room. This is the ideal spot for waking up to some sun and Boston landscapes.
The bathroom area is particularly spacious, and is attached to another nook which houses an in-room safe and coffee station. The room also comes with a large work space, featuring two desk areas perfect for a quick business call.
Amenities at the Hotel
Aloft Hotel offers a pool area for guests, an on-site convenience store for your food/drinks needs, a fully equipped fitness center, dry-cleaning service, free coffee/tea, and meeting space. Enjoy a snack outside in the backyard area, or lounge by the fire pits on a chillier evening.
If you’re visiting Boston in the summer months, a pool is a necessity; however, if you’re braving the Boston winters, luckily for you, the pool is warm. The convenience store in the lobby area is stocked with microwavable goodies, ice cream, snacks, fruits, and beverages. If you want a cheap and cheerful grab and go option, this is it!
Dining at Aloft Hotel Boston
Luckily for guests, the hotel has many options when it comes to dining. Aside from the convenience store in the lobby, the hotel is also home to W XYZ bar, where you can grab a cocktail and snack, and Alma Gaucha (a delicious, Brazilian steakhouse!)
It’s within walking distance of Seaport Boulevard, which is full of foodie options from Greek food to Seafood, and also a short walk to Southie, where you’ll find a selection of eateries and Irish pubs. It’s also across from D’s Keys, which is located beside the Element Hotel, and across from the famous and fun Lawn on D!
